Sunless Sea’s Cultist Simulator Rogue Card Coming To Nintendo Switch
Playdigious and Weather Factory have announced that the Cultist Simulator, “a game of passion on the brink of an abyss,” will be coming to Nintendo Switch. No release date announced.
The cultist Simulator was released on PC in May 2018 with a subsequent release on iOS and Android in April 2019. This game is from the creator of Fallen London and Sunless Sea Alexis Kennedy. The Cultist Simulator is set in the 1920s setting where gods hide and secret chronicles are written.
The project is representative of the genre of story card games with roguelike elements. You have to create a cult and recruit neophytes into it, and then send them to dark deeds. From the point of view of gameplay, each card you open can change your character forever, and the choices you make (even the smallest ones) affect the further development of the plot.
