Four more will be assembled by the end of the year
The Almaz-Antey concern at the former Toyota plant in St. Petersburg has already begun to assemble BAZ-S36A11 trucks. More precisely, the first copy of a three-axle truck was released.
Until the end of this year, the plant is going to produce five cars, which is a prerequisite before the start of mass production. It, we recall, is scheduled for 2024.
The first BAZ-S36A11 truck was produced at the former Toyota plant
BAZ-S36A11 is distinguished by the fact that many of its main components and assemblies are produced in Russia. The machine is equipped with an 11-liter YaMZ-6531 engine with a capacity of 422 hp, a nine-speed manual gearbox YaMZ-1909 with a demultiplier, a transmission using a transfer case manufactured by ZMT LLC and transport axles with independent suspension developed and manufactured by JSC Bryansk Automobile factory”.
We also recall that the car has a wheel formula of 6 x 6 and a load capacity of 22.1 tons.
