The card will clearly not be economical
Yesterday AMD published a picture of a new generation video card from the Radeon RX 6000 line. Now we have pictures of this accelerator, as well as some other model.
The first “live” photo of the top-end new generation AMD Radeon graphics card
As you can see, this is the same card. Or at least the same design, but now we are hardly talking about different accelerators. The card is very large, although, most likely, it is still more compact than the reference GeForce RTX 3090.
Two eight-pin power connectors can be noted, which clearly indicates high power consumption. Apparently, the new generation of cards from both Nvidia and AMD will please us with performance, but not the economy.
The image above is probably a different card, but this is also a high-performance solution since it has the same two eight-pin power connectors. It can be assumed that the larger model is the conditional Radeon RX 6950 XT, and the smaller one is the RX 6850 XT.
Recall that the announcement of video cards is officially scheduled for October 28.
