The older version of Apple AirPods Studio headphones will cost $ 600. Their presentation has been postponed

The older version of Apple AirPods Studio headphones will cost $ 600. Their presentation has been postponed

Earlier it was reported that Apple has removed Bose, Logitech, and Sonos headphones and speakers from their stores. It is assumed that this is due to the imminent launch of the proprietary smart speaker HomePod mini and the AirPods Studio wireless on-ear headphones.

It is reported that the new headphones will be available in two variants. The more expensive version with leather and metal trim will cost customers $ 600. As for the more affordable sports model AirPods Studio, its price will be about $ 350. It is also reported that the new device will not be shown at an event scheduled for October 13, as its launch into mass production will take place only in the second half of this month. Most likely, Apple will announce AirPods Studio a little later, for example, closer to the New Year’s season.

The new headphones will not receive a 3.5mm jack. Instead, they will be equipped with a USB Type-C port, which will be used for both rechargings and, if necessary, to transfer sound from the source. The earbuds will boast active noise canceling and will automatically detect the position on the user’s head by adjusting the sound channels. There will likely also be a modification of the AirPods Studio that will be sold under the Beats brand, which is owned by Apple. In addition, reputable analyst Jon Prosser said that the announcement of the long-awaited AirTag tracker, which was supposed to be presented with the iPhone 12, has been postponed to March next year. According to reports, the compact AirTag tracker can be attached to various objects, such as a wallet, keys, or suitcase, so that if necessary, it is easy to find the item using the Find My app. Another purported AirTag feature is that an alert will be sent to the user’s iPhone if they move too far from the object to which the tag is attached.
