And two other similar models

Honda has unveiled an electric version of its super popular Cub scooter. True, only in China and in a rather specific form.

The Honda e-Cub or Cub e was announced along with two other similar models, the Dax e and the Zoomer e.

While not all the data is available, but, apparently, all three models are technically as similar as possible, but differ primarily in design. For example, all three can only reach speeds of up to 25 km / h, but this is not due to Honda’s approach, but to the rules of the Chinese market. The novelties belong to the EB category, which also includes electric bicycles, and it implies the above speed limit. As you can see, there are even pedals, since these are formally bicycles.

Nothing is reported about the power reserve, power and other parameters. As for the price, it’s $885 for the Cub e and Dax e, while the Zoomer e is $900.

It is worth saying that the Honda Super Cub (or simply Cub) is not just the best-selling scooter in the world, but the best-selling vehicle in general, since the model has been produced without major changes since 1958, and during this time more than 100 million units have been produced, And that’s not counting Chinese copies.
