It is noted that the solutions are designed for use in network storage devices (NAS). We are talking about storage in a “desktop” format for home and office use, which are becoming increasingly popular in the context of remote work and distance learning.

“ Transcend’s SSD250N solid-state drive is designed specifically for NAS applications, offers high reliability 24/7, and is suitable for always-on NAS systems,” the company notes.

The family includes models with a capacity of 1 and 2 TB. The declared speed of sequential reading of information reaches 560 MB / s, sequential write speed – 480 MB / s.

IOPS (input/output operations per second) is up to 82,000 for random reads of data in 4 KB blocks and up to 80,000 for random writes.

Dimensions are 100 × 69.85 × 6.8 mm, weight – 57 g. Meantime between failures (MTBF) – 2 million hours. A five-year warranty backs the devices.
