Various Linux systems available for Tuxedo Aura 15 laptop based on AMD Ryzen 7 4700U
European company Tuxedo Computers has unveiled the Aura 15 laptop, which uses a combination of the AMD hardware platform and the operating system with the Linux kernel.
Powered by a Ryzen 7 4700U processor with eight processing cores clocked at 2.0 GHz (up to 4.1 GHz). The amount of RAM in the maximum configuration is 64 GB.
The display measures 15.6 inches diagonally and has a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). We are talking about 95% coverage of the sRGB color space. The brightness is 300 cd / m 2.
It is possible to install a fast PCIe NVMe solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. The equipment includes W-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, an optional 4G / LTE module, a Gigabit Ethernet network controller, stereo speakers, microSD slot, and a backlit keyboard.
Available interfaces include HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and a standard headphone jack. Dimensions are 360 × 239 × 19.9 mm, weight – 1.65 kg.
The laptop can be installed with the operating system Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, or Tuxedo_OS. The price starts at 799 euros.
