AMD introduced the Radeon RX 6700 XT, a graphics card for 1440p gaming. On sale – from March 18 to $ 479
As promised, AMD today unveiled the mid-range Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card, which is geared towards gaming at 1440p. Sales of new items will begin on March 18.
Like other Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards, the new Radeon RX 6700 XT is based on 7nm RDNA 2 architecture, high-speed 96MB Infinity Cache, and 12GB GDDR6 video memory. The Navi 22 GPU used in the Radeon RX 6700 XT has 40 compute units (2560 stream processors) and operates at 2424 MHz (Game Clock), with auto-overclocking capability up to 2581 MHz (Boost Clock). The video memory has an effective frequency of 16 GHz and a 192-bit bus. The calculated heat dissipation of the video card is 230 W.
According to AMD, the Radeon RX 6700 XT at 1440p can deliver 2x the gaming performance of the previous generation, such as the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and over 165 FPS in eSports.
Besides, AMD promises a performance advantage over both the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and the GeForce RTX 3070.

The Radeon RX 6700 XT will go on sale in two weeks on March 18th. In addition to the reference version, versions from AMD partners – ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, SAPPHIRE, and XFX will also be available. The recommended price of the new item (in the reference version) is set at $ 479. As we were confirmed in AMD’s local representative office, sales of the Radeon RX 6700 XT in the Russian market will start simultaneously with the whole world.
