ASRock Unveils X570 PG Velocita Board for Powerful Ryzen 5000 Gaming Systems

ASRock has expanded its Phantom Gaming product line with the introduction of the new X570 PG Velocita motherboard. The novelty is made in a standard ATX form factor and is designed to build a powerful gaming system based on the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors.

The manufacturer claims support for AMD Ryzen 2000, 3000, 4000 5000 series processors for the X570 PG Velocita motherboard. The equipment of the new items includes four slots of DDR4 RAM with support for up to 128 GB of RAM. The motherboard BIOS can handle XMP profiles to overclock RAM over 5000 MHz when using Ryzen 5000 series processors. The board also has two PCIe 4.0 x16 and three PCIe 4.0 x1 slots. To organize the storage subsystem, the manufacturer has provided for the presence of two PCIe 4.0 slots for NVMe drives in M.2 format, as well as 8 SATA III connectors.

The X570 PG Velocita motherboard uses a reinforced 14-phase   processor power supply that utilizes Japanese Nichicon 12K Black Caps. It is cooled by two aluminum radiators united by a heat-conducting tube. The motherboard chipset uses an active cooling system consisting of an aluminum heatsink and a fan with a claimed operating time of up to 50 thousand hours.

The ASRock X570 PG Velocita motherboard also includes 7.1-channel audio, which is responsible for the Realtek ALC1220 codec and Nahimic Audio technology, three USB 3.2 Gen2 connectors (Type-C and Type-A at the back and one Type-C at the front), as well as ten USB 3.2 Gen1. In the latter case, four are displayed on the front panel, the remaining six – on the back. There are also one HDMI and DisplayPort connectors and a quick BIOS update button.

Additional features of the board are the Killer E3100 and Killer AX1650 controllers. The first provides 2.5 Gigabit network access, the second is responsible for supporting the 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless standards and the operation of two Wi-Fi antenna connectors. ASRock X570 PG Velocita has its own RGB lighting, and also allows you to connect LED strips and RGB fans for additional cooling.

Unfortunately, ASRock did not disclose the price and date of launching the X570 PG Velocita motherboard.
