Console versions of Star Renegades will go on sale before the end of November, but not all at the same time
Raw Fury and Massive Damage have announced the release date of their multidimensional roguelike strategy game for the current generation of consoles on the official Star Renegades microblog.
Previously, the developers promised to release Star Renegades on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch before the end of this year and they kept their word, but with a small caveat.
For Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, the game will go on sale on November 19, and PlayStation 4 owners will have to wait another six days – the project will be available on the Sony platform on November 25.
On the occasion of the announcement of the console release date, the developers have presented a dynamic trailer. The video lasts a little over a minute and shows praise from journalists about the game.
The video shows scores of at least 80 points, but in fact, the critics turned out to be even more severe: the average Star Renegade rating on the Metacritic aggregator site is 76% out of 100.
Star Renegade takes place in the distant future, where humanity is threatened by a mysterious evil force called the Imperium. Players need to fight their way into the heart of the enemy organization and put an end to it.
Star Renegade offers a procedurally generated story campaign, a tactical combat system with interruptions and counterattacks, evolving enemies, and the ability to develop relationships between heroes.
