E-book Xiaomi Mi Reader Pro received a 7.8 “display and 32 GB of memory
The Chinese company Xiaomi, as promised, announced today a new device for reading e-books – the Mi Reader Pro gadget, equipped with a display on electronic paper with front adjustable backlight.
An E Ink panel with a diagonal of 7.8 inches and a resolution of 1872 × 1404 pixels (pixel density – 300 PPI) is used. The backlight offers 24 levels of brightness, as well as the ability to change the colour temperature.
The reader carries onboard a processor with four processing cores and 2 GB of RAM. The built-in flash module is designed to store 32 GB of information.
A dual-band Wi-Fi adapter (2.4 / 5 GHz) and a Bluetooth 5.0 controller are responsible for the capabilities of wireless data exchange. The operating system Android 8.1 Oreo is used as the software platform.
A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3200 mAh is responsible for power supply with recharge via a symmetrical USB Type-C port. The device is housed in a housing that is only 7 mm thick and weighs approximately 250 g.
The Xiaomi Mi Reader Pro eBook is currently available to order for an estimated price of $ 170. In the future, the cost will increase to $ 200.
