In World of Warcraft Classic, there is a raid called Onyxia’s Lair, where only one boss lives – Onyxia. Usually, groups of forty people gather to kill him, but recently users have proven that a team of two fighters can destroy a monster. This was done by the author of the Twitch channel zanthed1 and his friend.
The enthusiasts have perfectly matched the characters to kill Onyxia. One of them controlled a warrior who kept the enemy’s aggression on himself and also inflicted damage. And the other, being a priest, restored health to a partner and applied positive effects on an ally and negative effects on a boss. Besides, players regularly used potions and other consumables to avoid accidentally dying. Their actions look incredibly well-coordinated, so one can only guess how many attempts zanthed1 and a friend spent killing Onyxia. The video, which is available at the link, shows that the boss fight lasted 57 minutes. For the victory, they received several items of epic quality.
Onyxia is far from the hardest boss in World of Warcraft Classic. This dragon’s attacks are easy to learn, so users love to kill it in unusual ways. For example, in July last year, a group of players defeated Onyxia without clothes or weapons.
