Microsoft and partners unveil five affordable LTE laptops for education

Microsoft today unveiled five new laptops from Acer, ASUS, and JP-IK, which are positioned as the most affordable LTE-enabled PCs starting at $ 185. However, since four of them are based on Intel chips, LTE support is optional, and you will have to pay extra for it, that is, in fact, you cannot buy an LTE model for $ 185.

The most affordable models are designed by JP-IK. These are Leap T304 and Leap Connect T304. The first is based on an Intel Celeron processor, working in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM and lacks LTE support. It is he who costs $ 185. The Leap Connect E304 is based on the Snapdragon 7c and boasts 4G support for $ 229.

Acer offers the TravelMate B3 and TravelMate Spin B3 laptops. Their cost starts at $ 239 and $ 329, respectively. Both devices ship with the new 10nm Intel Pentium Silver Jasper Lake processors. They are equipped with USB Type-C ports and, in general, look quite modern.

For $ 279, ASUS offers the ExpertBook BR1100 with a Celeron N4500 processor known to be housed in a rugged, antibacterial case. In addition, Microsoft has unveiled a new $ 20 Classroom Pen 2, which is still largely unknown. The Teams app has also been enhanced to make remote lessons more convenient.
