A press release posted on MSI’s official website states that the company has already released AGESA COMBO PI V2 1.1.0.0 microcode for all motherboards based on AMD X570 and B550 chipsets, which adds support for new Zen 3 processors. The manufacturer also promised to implement support for Ryzen 5000 series chips on some models of their motherboards based on AMD X470 and B450 logic. But in the end, at the numerous requests of his fans, he decided to provide support for new processors for all models of his motherboards released within this generation of system logic. MSI will provide additional information on the timing of the required BIOS version for motherboards based on AMD X470 and B450 chipsets after AMD provides the code itself.

The manufacturer also added that motherboards based on X370, B350, and A320 chipsets will not receive support for Ryzen 5000 series processors. Citing AMD, the company points out that support for Zen 3 processors has not been announced for these chipsets.
