MSI unveils Intel Rocket Lake Infinite gaming desktops
MSI will soon begin selling MEG Infinite X 11th and MAG Infinite 11th gaming desktops, powered by Intel Rocket Lake hardware platform and Windows 10 operating system.
The MEG Infinite X 11th model in the maximum configuration carries a Core i9-11900K processor with eight cores (up to 16 instruction streams) and a clock speed of 3.5-5.3 GHz. The amount of DDR4-3200 RAM can be up to 128 GB. It is possible to install two M.2 2280 solid-state drives. The graphics subsystem can include a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 accelerator.
The MAG Infinite 11th version, in turn, in the most expensive configuration, is equipped with a Core i7-11700 chip with eight cores (16 threads), the clock frequency of which varies from 2.5 to 4.9 GHz. The maximum allowable amount of RAM is 64 GB. There is a connector for one M.2 2280 module, and the video subsystem can include an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti adapter.
Both new items are enclosed in a case with dimensions of 210 × 450 × 488 mm. Space available for one 3.5 “drive and two 2.5” storage devices. The front part has a multi-color backlight.
