AMD has not yet introduced these energy-efficient APUs

As we recently learned, AMD is preparing energy-efficient Ryzen 7040U processors based on the Zen 4 architecture. And their capabilities can be seen on the example of the eight-core Ryzen 7 7840U, which has already been shown in Cinebench R23.

The upcoming APU scores 14,825 points in multi-threaded mode. And for a processor with a TDP of 15-28 W, this is an excellent result. For example, this is 40% more than the current Ryzen 7 6800U, and even more than the 45-watt Ryzen 9 6980HX! Compared to the Intel CPU, the Core i7-12700H scores about 16,700 points, but this is a completely different class of CPU.

Thus, the most modern energy-efficient AMD processors with the latest architectures for CPU and GPU will soon appear on the market.
