MSI today unveiled the Optix MAG274QRF-QD esports monitor, featuring a proprietary Mystic Light that can be synchronized with other components of the gaming station.

The panel is made using Quantum Dot technology. The size is 27 inches diagonally, the resolution is 2560 × 1440 pixels (WQHD format). The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.

The display claims 97 percent DCI-P3 color space and 147 percent sRGB color space. The device has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 1 ms.

The brightness is 300 cd / m 2. Typical and dynamic contrast ratios are 1000: 1 and 100,000,000: 1. It talks about compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync technology, which helps to eliminate screen tearing and improve the smoothness of gameplay.

The monitor has a USB Type-C port to which you can connect a laptop. There is a DisplayPort 1.4 interface, two HDMI 2.0b connectors, and a USB 2.0 hub. In addition, a standard headphone jack is provided.

The panel can be used in landscape and portrait orientations. You can adjust the screen height, tilt, and swivel angles.
