Xiaomi last year showed an ultra-fast wired charger for 100 W Super Charge Turbo smartphones. The company demonstrated its effectiveness by charging a fully discharged smartphone battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh to 100% in just 17 minutes.
Xiaomi is working on fast charging for 120 W smartphones
Xiaomi promised to release the product on a commercial basis this year with the announcement of new smartphones. While we did not wait for this charge, but perhaps with the release of some new models of devices, we will expect an even more powerful charger.
A video appeared on Weibo’s Chinese social network showing 120W ultra-fast wired charging. The device itself is clearly two times more than the standard charge for a smartphone and, apparently, heavier. In the published video, the device is presented in a white case in a protective factory film and uses a flat American clumsy plug.

On one side of the charging also contains its characteristics, showing support for the output voltage of 20 V at a current of 6 A. It is also said to support the modes of 20 V and 5 A, as well as 11 V and 6 A.
Redmi brand CEO and Xiaomi vice president Lu Weibing has previously stated that high voltage is used for the 100W Super Charge Turbocharger. The company has already demonstrated 100-W charging, so it is likely that Xiaomi actually has a more powerful option available. And we are not talking about another underground Chinese craft.
