AOC GH200 and GH300 Gaming Headsets feature 50mm drivers
AOC, a renowned designer of computer monitors, has announced the GH200 and GH300 headsets. Overhead devices are designed for users who are fond of games.
New items are equipped with 50 mm emitters; the declared range of reproducible frequencies extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. A detachable microphone on an adjustable boom is provided.
The GH200 provides stereo sound. A standard 3.5 mm connector is used for connection, and therefore the device can be used not only with computers but also with game consoles, various mobile gadgets (smartphones, tablets), etc.
The GH300 version connects to a computer via a USB interface, providing virtual 7.1 surround sound. This model is equipped with multi-color RGB lighting with several operation modes, such as breathing and color cycling.
The headsets are equipped with a 2 meter long braided connecting cable with a small remote control. The developer emphasizes a high level of comfort during prolonged wear and relatively low weight.
Both new items will go on sale in May. The GH200 and GH300 will be priced at $ 55 and $ 70, respectively.
