However, there is a problem and it must be solved. According to sources, the position of Samsung complicated the output of the iPhone SE. Despite the fact that the new Apple is not a direct competitor to the flagships of the Korean giant, either in price or in terms of parameters, right now, when the iPhone SE entered the market, Samsung reportedly stepped up the process of promoting the Galaxy S20 line.
For example, recently in the USA, Samsung launched a trade-in program unprecedented for itself, offering discounts up to 50% on new smartphones.
Samsung also decided to more aggressively promote its flagships in the home market. In particular, the company offers local mobile operators conditions that allow the latter to offer customers impressive subsidies – the amounts reach $ 408, which is impressive given that the smartphone has only recently entered the market.
According to some reports, the Galaxy S20 line is selling 20-40% worse than the Galaxy S10 was once sold. It is unlikely that trade-in and subsidies will reduce such an impressive gap, but such actions are quite capable of spurring sales.
