YouTube has stopped working with ad blockers. What’s the matter

This browser is gaining popularity quite quickly, and with the release of mandatory automatic updates for Windows, its distribution has accelerated even more.

However, switching to a new browser does not work without problems. For some users, the Youtube video service refuses to work. The video player simply displays a black screen and the message “An error has occurred. Try again later. ” Moreover, this happens on all variations of Microsoft Edge, regardless of the platform – Windows, macOS, and so on.

As Microsoft explained, an error occurs for users who have installed extensions to block AdBlock or AdBlock Plus ads. The company is now working on a fix. As a temporary solution, it is proposed to disable ad blockers.
